Free nurse led cervical screening clinic established for women.
Palmerston North Women’s Health Collective Inc. became an incorporated society.
Funding to provide health services from the Area Health Board, later transferred to the Central Regional Health Authority and MidCentral District Health Board.
The PNWHC received a Commonwealth Award for Excellence in Women’s Health.
The PNWHC received the inaugural MidCentral DHB Primary Health Award for Excellence in Addressing Inequalities.
The PNWHC received the MidCentral DHB Health Award for Excellence in Addressing Inequalities.
September 19th 2018 we relaunched with our gifted Te Reo Māori name added to our existing name to become Te Hā o Hine-ahu-one Palmerston North Women’s Health Collective Inc.
With the help of Te Mānawa we ran an incredibly successful art auction which raised $25,000 to keep us ticking over!
Retirement of our long serving manager Jean Hera. Jean was with us for 35 years!
